Valentine's Day Gifts for Moms
There is just nothing in the world so precious as a Valentine's card from your child. You know -- with your child's tiny handprint forming a heart and some scribbly lines inside that surely would be spelling out "I Love You, Mom" if only your child knew how to write.
What's really nice is when a card like this comes paired with a little something extra. So, here are a few hints to get all you dads and significant others started.
Blogger's Note:
My daughter and I often work together on such activities. Its easy to go to a craft store and make a really special card using simple materials like yarn, buttons, and glitter, as well as the crayons.
At Christmas one of the gifts my daughter and I made for Mom was a sign that was painted on wood with glitter, and smaller wood cutouts of flip flops, sunglasses, and flowers. It was a real hit.
